You arrive to Cluj Napoca airport. You will have a FREE guided tour in the city, depending on your flight hours. Transfer to Oravita where you will spend the night.

The Bei is definitely the most beautiful river in the region. Not only does it have crystal clear waters, but the whole course of the river is full of travertine terraces, formed by deposited limestone. There are sometimes many of these terraces one above the other, forming small cascades. You pass some waterfalls, then you see the most beautiful formations, small waterfalls on travertine terraces. Nearby there is also a carstic spring, which is called the Eye of the Bey, a small pond of incredibly blue hues. This small lake never freezes because of the underlying spring that permanently feeds it with water. It also never loses the fairy-tale-like colours, a hue sometimes turquise, sometimes green, you can take great pictures of the surrounding trees reflecting in the crystal-clear water. As you walk on, there are more  waterfalls, the highest being the Beusnita, where the water tumbles over on moss-covered travertine wall. It is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the country. (Easy hike, 7 km, there is no considerable difference in altitude.)
