This path takes you tot he highest waterfall of the region. It is a 40 m free fall, so when the weather is windy, the water is often blown away, that is the origin of the name. You start out with a steep climb, as is the case of most hikes in The Cerna Valley. After a while the path becomes less steep, but still rocky and bumpy. The last section is comparatively easy. After like 45 minutes you catch a glimpse of the Falls, perched high between two scenic rock faces. From here on it is a very easy walk. This is one of the rare waterfalls where you can walk behind. It is a unique experience to walk under the mighty rocks and the roaring waterfall, so make sure you don’t miss out this hike!
(Duration 3 h. Distance: 3 km. Height difference: 350 m up, 350 m down. It can easily be combined with walk no. 15. and walk no. 14.)
